The late Ms. Ingra Conley is remembered as a cherished daughter, beloved sister, Godmother, mentor, and friend to many. A native of Huntsville, AL, Ms. Conley was a 1996 Clark Atlanta University Alumna, having earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
As a passionate philanthropist, Ingra lived a life of service, compassion, and faith. She had a successful career with leadership roles amongst several companies in Dallas, Texas, including Sabre Holdings, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, and AmerisourceBergen.
She also had a history serving as a community leader and was a member of the National Black MBA Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; The Links, Incorporated; St Luke “Community” Church in Dallas, Texas, and Union Chapel M.B. Church in Huntsville, Alabama.
In October 2018, Ms. Conley succumbed to her battle with gallbladder cancer. Her family honored her legacy in April of 2021 by establishing the Ingra A. Conley Cancer Research Endowed Scholarship Fund, supporting students doing important research to combat cancer.
Before her passing, Ms. Conley made estate plans to support her beloved Alma Maters. Her mother, Mrs. Flora Ector, and sister, Ms. Rochelle Conley, continue to honor Ms. Conley’s memory with gifts to grow and strengthen the impact of the Ingra A. Conley Cancer Research Endowed Scholarship Fund.
Mrs. Flora Ector created a heartfelt quilt that honors her daughter’s memory and her strong ties with Clark Atlanta University and the Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development.
